Meet Alex
I’ve spent my life inside creative disciplines. Piano at seven, decades of playing and writing across multiple instruments, a BA in Music from Azusa Pacific University, and over twenty years leading worship at SHINE Church in Los Angeles. Somewhere in my late teens, I picked up a camera too, and fell in love with a different kind of creative expression, one built on light and framing instead of melody and rhythm. Different tools, but the same instinct underneath.
Alongside music, I built a second career in creative and marketing leadership. For over fifteen years, I led creative and marketing teams inside large organizations (first as a designer), most recently as Director of Marketing and Creative Services at a multi-billion dollar company, where I spent my days shaping how organizations tell their story. Two very different worlds, music and corporate marketing, but the same question sat at the center of both: how do you take an idea and make it actually land with people.
I founded ENVZN Studio in 2025 to bring all of it together. Based in La Cañada, CA, ENVZN works across three things I care about deeply: music production, photography, and AV consulting. On the music side, I collaborate with independent singer-songwriters and artists from the first arrangement through the final mix. On the photography side, I work with small businesses, brands, and families across LA, bringing to life the best version of what you see, the product, the storefront, the smile, a passion that began with my first camera. And with AV, I draw on two decades in both the studio and Church AV to help teams optimize AV and livestream systems that hold up on Sunday morning and reach the people watching from home with the same impact. The goal is always the same, to create work that connects with people and moves them.
As of 2026, I began recording and releasing my own music as Andro Martez. I describe my style as authentic and in-the-moment, shaped by a lifetime of influences across worship, jazz, soul, folk, alternative, and Latin music, and rooted in the belief that God’s fingerprints are visible in every element of life. I write, produce, and engineer everything myself, because music this personal has to be built that way.
